SBS Weekend '8 News' New Anchor, Lee Hyun-young...MZ's sensibility is expected to change

Anchor Lee Hyun-young is a 10-year reporter who joined SBS in 2016 and has worked in major departments such as the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Ministry of Political Affairs, and the Ministry of Exploration and Reporting. He is a talented journalist of the MZ generation who has won a number of media awards, including 'Reporter of the Month' and 'Broadcast Reporter of the Year'.
SBS expressed expectations, saying, `The right person to revitalize the weekend '8News' with a young and fresh perspective and a sense of news.'
Anchor Lee Hyun-young said, `I understand how much concern and verification a reporter goes through before publishing an article.' `I will do my best to fully convey the sincerity and effort to the viewers", he expressed his feelings. He then expressed his ambition, saying, `I will naturally melt the countless people and experiences I met on the scene into the news.'
Meanwhile, reporter Jeong Yu-mi, who has anchored the weekend '8News' over the past two years, plans to focus on the YouTube channel 'Political Consulting Stove League'. In particular, during the presidential election, YouTube will be strengthened to expand contact with viewers.
