Yook Sung-jae and Kim Ji-yeon of the 'Guigung' Unidentified Confronted in the Palace...Does he appear in the air

SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Going Palace' is raising expectations by releasing a scene with extreme tension between Yook Sung-jae and Kim Ji-yeon ahead of the third episode to be aired today (25th).

"Gwigung" is a fantasy romance play in which Yeori (Kim Ji-yeon), a shaman who rejected the fate of Yeongmae, and Kang Cheol-i (Yook Sung-jae) of Lee's first love Yun Gap face off against a strange creature who has a grudge against the royal family. Since the first week of the broadcast, it has recorded a national viewership of 9.2% and a maximum of 10.7% (based on Nielsen Korea), making it the best opening performance among SBS 2025 dramas.

In the preview still of the third episode released this time, Kang Cheol-i and Yeori, who are wary of something in a space in the palace at a deep night, are depicted. Steel, which carefully closes the terrified Yeo-ri's mouth, and Kang-ri's eyes, which seem to convey something by holding tightly to the shoulders of the mesmerized Yeo-ri, suggest that the existence they face is by no means ordinary.

In the 2nd episode, which aired earlier, the shocking fact that the spirit of the dead Yoon Gap was eaten by the octopuses, as well as the setting that the octopuses were possessed by the atom (Park Jae-joon), who showed madness, gave shivers. As a result, there is a possibility that the existence faced by Kang Cheol-i and Yeori in the palace is related to the octagonal ear.

'Guigung' is now expected to raise the prelude to a full-fledged exorcism play, raising questions about where the fantasy mystery narrative will go along with the relationship between Kang Cheol-i and Yeori.

Meanwhile, SBS's representative fantasy historical drama 'Going Palace' airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:55 p.m. Episode 3 will be broadcasted today (25th).
