Park Bo-gum & Kim Sohyun’s ‘Good Boy’ Premieres May 31 on JTBC
JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama starring Park Bo-gum and Kim So-hyun unveiled a hot script practice site ahead of the first broadcast.

The first script reading held at JTBC's headquarters in Sangam-dong in March last year was attended by director Shim Na-yeon, writer Lee Dae-il who wrote the script, as well as actors such as Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-i, Heo Sung-tae and Tae Won-seok. Despite the fact that it was only one practice, the scene heated up with a world view of 'Good Boy', a mixture of laughter, tension, and action energy.

Park Bo-gum tried to make a different transformation as Yoon Dong-joo, a strong special team police officer who was a former boxing gold medalist. He is a character with a strong sense of justice and rugged humanity at the same time, overwhelming the script reading scene with solid eyes and a heavy voice. Kim So-hyun played the role of Ji Han-na, a gold medalist in shooting and a police officer, giving off her determined and straightforward charm. Kim So-hyun's unique action and gun action were added, heralding the birth of a 'unprecedented character'.

Oh Jung-se is the villain who will be responsible for the tension of the play. He transformed himself into a customs official at the Korea Customs Service during the day and a heavyweight of a criminal organization at night, overwhelming the scene with three-dimensional smoke that goes between ordinary and cool. Oh Jung-se's unique cold and meticulous performance led to admiration that "Oh Jung-se is also true".

Lee Sang-i, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-seok also showed a strong presence as major members of the strong special team. Lee Sang-i, who plays Kim Jong-hyun, a former silver medalist in fencing, expressed softness and coolness at the same time, and Heo Sung-tae, a former wrestling bronze medalist-turned-team leader Ko Man-sik, showed the charm of a 「Life Leader」 by exchanging laughter and charisma. Tae Won-seok joined Shin Jae-hong, a former discus throwing bronze medalist, and added a variety of charms by exchanging strong physique and anti-war sensibility.

The five actors, so-called 'Good Avengers', boasted perfect chemistry from the first practice, realizing the teamwork of the special teams. At the scene, along with Tiki-taka that fits just by looking at his eyes, a 'sprite shower class' line containing strong punishment for injustice exploded.

Here, supporting casts such as Seo Hyun-chul, Jeong Man-sik, Park Chul-min, Seo Jung-yeon, and Seo Jae-hee join to add a sense of stability to the play. The production team `was completely immersed in the character from the first practice. It is a thrilling story that intersects justice and youth, action and growth pain, and it will provide a strong catharsis to viewers," he said, expressing confidence.

JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Good Boy' is a youth action investigation drama that depicts the performance of a strong special team running toward justice more valuable than a gold medal. It will premiere at 10:40 p.m. on May 31.
