The 14th episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama "Treasure Island", which aired on the 5th, broke its own highest ratings once again, recording 14.6% nationwide and 14.5% in the metropolitan area (based on Nielsen Korea). At the moment, the highest ratings soared to 16.1%, and it was amazing to rank No. 1 in all broadcasts on Saturday with a 2049 rating of 3.6%.
The main character of this day's broadcast was definitely Park Hyung-sik. After witnessing the death of his biological father Heo Il-do (Lee Hae-young), Seo Dong-ju (Park Hyung-sik) began a revenge war against Yeom Jang-sun (Heo Jun-ho). By mobilizing all the slush funds, dandelion information, and internal collaborators that had been accumulated one by one, he put the absolute evil leader in a corner.
Seo Dong-joo first pressed Cha Kang-cheon, chairman of Daesan Group, to secure information on slush funds and even secured Heo Il-do's ashes. He then succeeded in showing his bare face to the whole nation on live broadcast by pushing 'dandelion information', the biggest weakness of the saline line.
In particular, Park Hyung-sik raised his immersion with his unwavering eyes and restrained emotional performance in the drone operation and the live multiple sequences in the second half of the play. The scene of proclaiming to Yeom Jang-sun "What burned is Plan A, this is Plan B" was in the ranks of the best scenes. As soon as Ma Jae-yeol TV's live broadcast exploded, Yeom Jang-seon had a mental breakdown and Seo Dong-ju had a thrilling smile to end the finale.
Viewers reacted explosively by saying, "Park Hyung-sik's life character is born" and "Seo Dong-ju is the main character" and "The development of chewing sweet potatoes and pouring cider"." The drama is now running towards its climax with 15% of the horse in front of it.
Beyond the epitome of revenge, "Treasure Island" depicts a man's meticulous and terrible fight and shows overwhelming perfection. Park Hyung-sik's acting skills are playing a leading role in leading the drama at the center.
SBS Friday-Saturday drama 「Treasure Island」 airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m.
