Rami Malek said in a video press conference for the movie `Amateur' on the 9th that `I wanted to show a new hero who is not typical.'
The movie released on the same day 'Amateur' is an intelligent spy thriller in which CIA cryptographer Charlie Heller, with no field experience, confronts a huge terrorist group with his own brilliant brain and skills to avenge his murdered wife, directed by James Howes, who directed 'Black Mirror' and 'Snowpiercer'.
Rami Malek will transform into a nerdy guy character in 'Amateur' to give her a twisty charm. Charlie Heller, played by him, stands out as a genius in the field of decryption, but is considered an uninteresting sandman because he is only focused on his job.
Rami Malek joked "For money" as to why she chose "Amateur". He went on to challenge himself as a typical hero personally and career-wise, and his goal was to break that mold as an artist.
