Lee Bong-won and Paeng Hyun-sook, the CEO of the restaurant industry, will compete with pride in the competition of 'Bangbong Pengbong'.

The production presentation of JTBC's entertainment program 『The Grand Battle』 was held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 17th. Comedians Choi Yang-rak, Lee Bong-won, Paeng Hyun-sook, and Lee Eun-ji, actors Yoo Seung-ho and Kwak Dong-yeon, and producers Lee Jin-joo and Shin Hye-won attended the scene.

JTBC 'Departure', which will premiere on April 19th! "Pangbong Pengbong" is a reality entertainment program in which representative comedians Paeng Hyun-sook and Lee Bong-won, who risked their lives in the restaurant industry, open two restaurants side by side on a small overseas island and compete for sales. It is attracting attention with the new work of producer Lee Jin-joo of 'Yoon's Restaurant' and 'Dating Brothers'.




Producer Lee commented on the background of the production, "The reason why I chose this item was the highest ratings. I wanted to do a program with good ratings, so I decided to choose a restaurant reality. But haven't there been a lot of variations (in the restaurant reality) recently. We also wanted to show something new, and we decided to create a program with both laughter and sincerity if we work with Lee Bong-won and Paeng Hyun-sook, who have achieved success after many challenges with their long lives.

In particular, Paeng Hyun-sook has been running a sundae soup restaurant in Namyangju for 20 years, and Lee Bong-won has been operating a jjamppong restaurant in Cheonan for 7 years, building special know-how. The two will hold a heated competition by opening Paengsikdang and Bong Restaurant on beaches where travelers from all over the world come and go.

Paeng Hyun-sook said, `I have been running restaurants and cafes since the year after I got married. I tried many things to live, but I failed and failed again. I started a family while running a restaurant, and I thought my life would end. I also failed a lot, but Lee Bong-won also failed a lot (laughs)," he said "I would like to thank PD Lee Jin-joo and JTBC officials for visiting us"

Regarding his secret to sales, Lee Bong-won said, "(The business) has failed six times so far. It was the 7th game of the 6th game, and the turning point of my life was 'Champpong'. I felt like I found something that had been stagnant while running a jjamppong restaurant"I've been running a jjamppong restaurant for 7 years, and my secret to doing business is "Honest". I treated the tourists with honest taste and kindness", he explained.

Lee Eun-ji also joins the staff of Bong Restaurant to show perfect chemistry between Lee Bong-won and comedian seniors and juniors. Regarding Lee Eun-ji, Lee Bong-won said, `He was very close to his mother (Park Mi-sun). We often keep in touch with each other, but I saw Eun Ji for the first time while filming this time. My mother said (Lee Eun-ji) was very nice and bright, but when we were together, she was very bright and wrinkly. And he's really good at work. Chinese food demands labor, but it is so strong and reliable that it seems to have gained a thousand troops," he praised.

Choi Yang-rak, Paeng Hyun-sook's husband, will also join as an employee of Paeng Sikdang to show off their cheerful energy and chemistry between the bickering couple. Paeng Hyun-sook said "As the couple appears together, it seems to be more advantageous (in the competition). Choi Yang-rak didn't help me with my work before that, but he helps me a lot these days. I am always grateful."




Lee Bong-won, who appeared alone without his wife, Park Mi-sun, said, `I was probably lonely. Park Mi-sun will also make a special appearance in the first episode of our program. I promised that the four of us would appear together next time. "But it was so cool to be surprised by Lee Bong-won. He's good at cooking and doing his job well. Looking at it, he confessed, "It was so cool that I thought that Lee Bong-won would have been happier if he were my husband."

Finally, expectations are rising for the performance of employee Yoo Seung-ho and employee Kwak Dong-yeon of Bong Restaurant. Yoo Seung-ho said, `I'm a part-timer at the Fang Sikdang. I can't be funny, but I tried to do what I was told to do as hard as I could." Kwak Dong-yeon also seems to have lived his second life while working part-time at a restaurant. Meanwhile, JTBC 'A competition! Pengbong Pengbong' will premiere at 7:10 p.m. on the 19th.
