When it comes to playing the character of Kim Dokja, Ahn Hyo-seop said, "I wanted to express an ordinary Kim Dokja that everyone could relate to, and I wanted to portray everyone growing up hand in hand with such a reader." In addition, "I spent the most time studying characters, talking a lot with the director, and practicing action steadily," he said, adding that efforts were made to perfect the role.
