Young K Warms Hearts with Tender OST for JTBC’s Good Boy

The second OST Part.2 of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Good Boy (played by Lee Dae-il, directed by Shim Na-yeon)' will be released on various online music sites at 6 p.m. on the 8th.
"I'll Be a Tree" is a song that conveys feelings as if reading a handwritten letter with Young K's unique warm and lyrical vocals on a calm arpeggio piano. From the introduction, a message of consolation "You can rest, my shadow will be the shade" with a heart-wrenching humming touches the listener's heart affectionately.
This song was composed by DUNK and MLC, led by Heo Sung-jin, the music director of 'Good Boy', jointly participating in the lyrics and composition, and unraveling the emotional narrative with music. In particular, as if representing the relationship between Dong-ju (Park Bo-gum) and Hanna (Kim So-hyun) in the play, it is expected to further increase the immersion of the play as it contains the warm gaze and determination of those who want to protect each other even after a precarious day.
Young K is a vocalist and bassist of DAY6 and is active in various areas such as solo albums and OSTs as well as group activities. It delicately depicts various emotional lines with solid musicality and authentic lyrics, and this OST will add more density of emotions to the play's narrative.
It is a comic action youth investigation drama in which medalists who became police officers with specialties wear police identification cards around their necks instead of medals and fight against a world of unconscionability and foul play, and the chemistry produced by unique actors such as Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-i and Heo Sung-tae is capturing the small screen every weekend.
