The drama 『Namju's First Night』, which was embroiled in a controversy over the damage of cultural assets, once again made an official apology ahead of its first broadcast.

The production presentation of KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 『Namjoo's First Night』 was held at the St. in D-Cube City, Guro-gu, Seoul on the 11th. Actors Seo Hyun, Ok Taek-yeon, Kwon Kwon So-sol, Seo Beom-jun, Ji Hye-won, and director Lee Woong-hee attended the scene.

"I Had the First Night of Namjoo" (written by Jeon Sun-young, directed by Lee Woong-hee and Kang Soo-yeon) is based on a web novel of the same name, and it is a romance fantasy with a minor part of a romance novel with the soul of an ordinary female college student unfolds while spending a night with the most obsessed male.

Seo-hyun plays the second best role in the novel, where female college student K is possessed, and Ok Taek-yeon plays the male protagonist in the novel and the royal family's close friend Lee. Seohyun of Girls' Generation, a former second-generation idol, and Ok Taek-yeon of 2PM are drawing attention by working together on romance in dramas, not on stage. Seo-hyun said, "I've been a singer for a long time, and I didn't have much friendship, but I had a great inner intimacy."There were similar feelings of camaraderie and comradeship because I've been through a lot (while working as an idol). It was comfortable from the first time we met to read the script, and it was nice to talk a lot about the work" expressed satisfaction.

Ok Taek-yeon said, "(Seohyun) was an unfamiliar member, although I met her often when I was an idol"I was happy to be together with this work, and we relied on each other to shoot on the set," he said.

Prior to the two, Yoona and Lee Joon-ho were loved a lot for their romantic teamwork in the JTBC drama 「King the Land」. Ok Taek-yeon said, "We also want to get good energy and do well."He expressed his eagerness.

Meanwhile, there was a noise during the production of 'Namjoo's first night. While filming at Byeongsan Seowon, which is listed as a World Heritage Site, it was revealed that a total of seven places, including six pavilions and one dormitory Dongjae pillar, were nailed, sparking controversy. In response, KBS apologized, saying that the filming team decided to discard all of the filming.

Director Lee said, `We apologize for causing concern to many people due to the damage to cultural assets at Byeongsanseowon Confucian Academy in Andong. It is true that we did something wrong unconditionally, and after the incident, all the related filming was discarded. At the KBS level, the existing guidelines have been reorganized and a separate guideline for filming cultural heritage has been prepared.




The National Heritage Administration's investigation is still underway, so additional measures must be judged by looking at the situation. "The immediate measures have already been taken, and due to the nature of the wood, we will observe them for about a year." "It should be a program that energizes viewers, but I'm sorry again to tell you bad news during the production process."

Seo-hyun and Ok Taek-yeon, the main characters of the film, also said, "Not only the staff but also the actors have become alarmed."There is no excuse, and I will be careful not to let this happen again on any set in the future." he said.

He also expressed his desire for the success of the drama. Director Lee said, `I think the results are as important as the process because it is not a drama made with my own money. We worked hard to get good results, so I hope the results will follow well," he said.

KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 『Namjoo's First Night』 will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on the 11th.
