The K-pop World Scale Debut Project Mnet 'Boyz 2 Planet' has finally taken its historic first step.
On the 12th (Wednesday), 160 boys performed the signal song "HOLA SOLAR" by Mnet, a world scale debut project for the top K-pop boy group, which held the Global Signal Song Showcase. It led to an explosive response from K-pop fans with its overwhelming production that combines large-scale performances, iconic narratives, and AR technology.
The signal song individual stage evaluation video will be released on YouTube and Mnet Plus at 6 p.m. today (13th), and will be held until 10 a.m. on the 15th (Sunday). This individual evaluation is an opportunity for star creators to choose their own 'boy', and attention is focused on which boy the light will be directed to.
The Signal Song Global Showcase depicts a journey of boys from different planets meeting on a single planet called 'Boyz 2 Planet' and heading toward a star creator named 'The Sun'. The message `You are the sun that will change the fate of the boys' led viewers to immerse themselves and raised expectations. K-pop fans around the world are paying attention to who will burn with the brightest light at the end of this journey.
'Boyz 2 Planet', which will be held with the largest number of people ever of 160, selected the first rap and dance part unit of the survival program and presented a special stage that was not previously seen.
