Coach Hwang Dong-hyuk announced about season 3.

Netflix held a production presentation for the original series 'Squid Game' Season 3 (played by Hwang Dong-hyuk, directed by 'Squid Game 3') at Seoul Dragon City in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 9th. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Lim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Wi Ha-joon, Park Kyu-young, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Jo Yu-ri, Chae Kook-hee, Lee Da-wit, and Roh Jae-won attended the event.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk said, "It's been about five years, and thank you for being with me until the last minute. I did my best and met with the actors and staff here, so please watch and support me until the end."

Director Hwang said, `Many of you may have guessed it because you watched the trailer, but it's about how Sung Ki-hoon, who lost his best friend Jung-bae with most of his colleagues at the end of the season 3 rebellion, fell to the floor due to guilt and despair of his fault, then hit the floor to do the rest of the work, and how Sung Ki-hoon got back on his feet. I think it would be interesting to focus on values such as the story I had with the frontman at first and the confrontation between the worldview and the view of humanity.

Director Hwang then said "This is what it's like. So rather than trying to give you a decided message, 'Think like this', what I wanted to give you through seasons 2 and 3 was a question. Many of the side effects of late capitalist society, the constant stimulation of excessive competition or human desire, and the frustration and defeat that occurs there, I wanted to ask the question of whether we humans could make a better world and pass on a sustainable one to our subsequent generations" he said.

'Squid Game 3' corresponds to the final finale of the 'Squid Game' series that sparked global syndrome. Season 3 tells the story of Ki-hoon (Lee Jung-jae), who lost his best friend in a game that he participated again with his own purpose, the frontman (Lee Byung-hun), who hid in the game while hiding his identity, and the final fate of the participants who survived the cruel game.

It will be released on Netflix on the 27th.
