Newcomer Chu Young-woo, you can be a noir..Severe Trauma Center → Square Activities

Actor Choo Young-woo also showed his presence in the square.

The Netflix series 'Gwangjang' is a noir action in which Nam Ki-joon (So Ji-seop), who cut his Achilles tendon and left the world of Gwangjang, returns after 11 years from the death of his younger brother Nam Ki-seok (Lee Joon-hyuk), who was the organization's second-in-command, to find out what's behind it for revenge.

In the play, Chu Young-woo played Lee Geum-son, the special prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and the son of Lee Joo-woon (Huh Jun-ho), the head of the organization that divides the square world. Although he seems to be on the path of an elite prosecutor, he has a dark ambition to turn the tide of the square inside him.

Geum-son, who is treated as a folding screen both in the organization and in the prosecution, is a person with a childish side in his cool-headedness. He lines up narrowly at the boundary of the two organizations and is consistent with an unknowable attitude. In addition, Geumson continued to create cracks on the flow of Jungjung-dong, deliberately passing on his father, Lee Ju-un, to his right-hand man, Choi Sung-cheol (Cho Han-cheol), proving his strategic aspect.

In particular, Chu Young-woo, who played Geum Son, did not lose his presence even among senior actors who were famous for his heavy voice, eyes, and dialogue tone. Through his previous works, Chu Young-woo worked as a pure love electrician and a doctor, and this time as a hotly ambitious prosecutor, he expanded his acting spectrum again. Choo Young-woo continues his relentless momentum as a leading actor, melting 100% into the noir action genre with a fishy smile he has never seen before.

As such, Chu Young-woo is fully assimilated into each character of the work and shows the presence of 'Hwan Seung-young-woo', which breaks the representative work, so it is more expected to take a step forward. 'Gwangjang' is currently available on Netflix, and it is gaining popularity as it ranked No. 1 in the popular TOP10 series in eight regions around the world, including Korea, based on Flix Patrol.
