Disney+ Thriller ‘Nine Puzzles’ Rises to No. 2 in Korea, Sparks Mystery Craze

'Nine Puzzle' is a full-fledged mystery thriller in which the only witness and incumbent profiler 'Ina' (Kim Dami) and a powerful team detective 'Hansam' (Son Seok-gu) who suspects him to the end of the puzzle series of murders. It is the first genre that director Yoon Jong-bin, who directed 'War on Crime: The Bad Men's Pregnancy' and"The Duke" and the first collaboration between Kim Da-mi and Son Seok-gu also drew great attention.
Released over two weeks until the 9th episode, 'Nine Puzzle' is receiving enthusiastic responses from viewers due to the charm of authentic mystery. As the beauty of finding criminals is maximized, there is a craze for interpretation of rice cakes planted by director Yoon Jong-bin and writer Lee Eun-mi.
Disney+ raised expectations by releasing additional unreleased stills ahead of the final episode (10-11) on June 4. Kim Da-mi and Son Seok-gu's still cuts, which captivated viewers by showing a unique relationship of doubt and cooperation from an incident 10 years ago, reminded them of their passionate performance.
Lee Na's pursuit of the true criminal, crisscrossing the scene of the incident, the Han River Police Station, and the house of Hansam, a temporary base camp, amplifies questions about whether he can overcome the trauma and approach the truth of the case. Hansam's appearance investigating Ina's room 10 years ago and his intense eyes that persistently pursued him with doubts captured the complex feelings toward Ina.
In addition, the still cut, in which Yang Jung-ho (Kim Sung-kyun), the head of the strong 2 team, showed tension among the reed fields, stimulated curiosity about the decisive scene that turned the situation around. Choi San (Hyun Bong-sik), the youngest detective wearing an MZ-style hat presented by Ina, added to the fun of the play by giving a real laugh even in the tense tension.
The final episodes 10-11 of Disney+"Nine Puzzle" will be released on June 4 (Wednesday).
