MBC Sports Plus tops KBO broadcast ratings ever...Hanwha vs Kia is immersed in dramatic competition

On June 8, broadcast by MBC Sports Plus, the showdown between Hanwha and KIA ranked No. 1 in history with the highest ratings of 3.49% in the history of KBO League regular season broadcasting.

This record, compiled based on AGB Nielsen nationwide households, is the highest except for KIA and Lotte ratings on October 9, 2018, which were considered the peak of KBO broadcasting ratings.




The 2018 KIA-Lotte game, which had the highest ratings in the past, was a match between teams competing for the postseason, and cable companies took over terrestrial broadcasting.

This game was played in the middle of the season, and KIA won the game with a close game until the 10th inning. The game between Hanwha and KIA, which recorded the highest ratings on the 8th, was two consecutive overtime games following the 7th.
