Shin Hong-sik is also famous as a rice restaurant man in Daegu. Rice has been delivered directly to 85 households for 28 years since the IMF. Rice delivery alone costs 4 to 5 million won every month. Shin Hong-sik is also a member of the Daegu Honor Society (a group of large donors with more than 100 million won).
