Actor Lee Sun-bin will play a role in the movie `Noise' as a woman who fights noise between floors.
'Noise' Press and Distribution Presentation was held at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 16th. Director Lee Sun-bin, Kim Min-seok, Han Soo-ah and Kim Soo-jin attended the scene.
「Noise」, which will be released on the 25th, is a real-life horror thriller in which Joo-young faces a mysterious incident while searching for her missing sister in a noisy apartment complex every day due to floor noise, and is director Kim Soo-jin's feature debut.
Director Kim, who directed the movie, said, `It seems that horror is the genre that maximizes effectiveness among the movies that can be seen in theaters. In particular, what made this plan more attractive was the space where inter-floor noise occurred, and the main character of the story was deaf because he was deaf. I wanted to use sound to cover the genre well, from reality-based thrillers to supernatural horror," he said.
The reason for casting Lee Sun-bin as Joo Young was "When I first met him, he said he liked horror content. I was worried because there were many actors who couldn't watch horror movies like Han Soo-ah at the time of casting, but Lee Sun-bin even recommended YouTube content, so he had a high understanding of the genre.

Lee Sun-bin challenged the horror thriller genre for the first time since his debut. He "I've always liked horror genres. I was afraid that I could participate in this work because I watched various contents such as webtoons, animations, and YouTube. Still, since it's my favorite genre, I wanted to do better and participate in it. "I've tried many genres, and I've come to feel that I have to act in more difficult and detailed ways, especially in the genre of horror."
Playing Joo-young, who struggled to find his younger brother in the play, he seems to be fascinated by the theme of inter-floor noise because the power of the script was great. Everyone can sympathize, and not only me, but everyone can be victims or perpetrators of noise between floors. Joo Young also has hearing impairments against noise between floors So, I wanted to use these things as devices to express the character well.'

Kim Min-seok plays Gi-hoon, Joo-hee's boyfriend, Joo-young's younger brother. As for how he joined the work, he said, `Doesn't there a lot of noise between floors come out in the news these days. That's why I sympathized with him. "And when I first read the scenario, I felt the story was solid. I thought the sister narrative could show the power to lead the story," he said.
He also mentioned his efforts to fully digest the character. Kim Min-seok "I tried not to stand out as much as possible in this work. I wanted to act as a lubricant so that the story could flow smoothly"I saw a lot of scary things on the set, but it was also scary to go to the basement of the apartment and film it in a pile of trash. It was taken from a pile created by an actual garbage class and an art team. I thought it was a set, but it was creepy to take it while smelling it in an actual septic tank. It seemed like a real situation. I took a lot of sleep-inducing drugs when I slept in the accommodation, and I was so scared."

Han Soo-ah, who played Joo-young's missing brother Joo-hee, said, `I've never seen a horror movie since I was born, but I felt like I could watch it when I came out. I was so scared when I first read the scenario. But I worked hard to prepare for the audition thinking that it would be fun if I appeared"And while filming again, I was worried about whether I could sleep alone in the dorm." Rather, I was so scared that I thought I knew well where people would feel scared, so it was fun to come up with ideas."
Finally, Lee Sun-bin showed his affection for the work and asked the audience to pay attention. He said "I hope the noise between floors reminds me of 'noise' right away. I hope there will be a meme related to us 'noise' when a scary genre or situation comes up or a topic of inter-floor noise comes out. 'Noise' is an anti-noise agent between floors, and I want to be called 'Storially Deaf Woman'," he said, drawing laughter.
