‘Our Unwritten Seoul’ Ranks 3rd on Netflix Global Chart, Gains Worldwide Acclaim

The tvN drama Unknown Seoul (written by Lee Kang-in, directed by Park Shin-woo and Nam Gun) produced by Studio Dragon ranked third in the Netflix Global Series (non-English). 'Unknown Seoul' is a romantic growth drama in which twin sisters, who are all different except for their faces, find true love and life by lying in exchange for life. It is being aired at home and abroad through tvN, TVing, and Netflix.
According to the global TOP10 series (non-English) rankings released by Netflix on the 4th (as of May 26 to June 1), 'Unknown Seoul' ranked third globally. The number of views recorded during the same period was 2.8 million hours, and the cumulative viewing time was 14.7 million hours.
Overseas media are also paying attention to 'Unknown Seoul'. The American entertainment magazine Variety described 'Unknown Seoul' as 'Challenging Park Bo-young's complicated task of playing twin sisters who change roles, four different personas effectively implemented"It was well received. Forbes, a leading U.S. media outlet, also reviewed "In this new K-drama, Park Bo-young plays the twin future and unknown, realistically portraying two characters with distinctly different personalities, and convincingly acting as if they were each other by changing roles." Hong Kong's South China Morning Post also praised Park Bo-young for not only clearly distinguishing between the unknown and the future, but also skillfully playing complex situations in which she plays each other, and delicately captures the wounds and toughness of the two characters.
Global viewers' responses are also hot. On IMDb, the world's largest content review site, 'Unknown Seoul' has an 8.5 rating. In particular, the rating of the three episodes was the highest with 9.7 points, and all four episodes released so far received 9.0 points or more. Filmarks, Japan's largest content review site, also has a high rating of 4.4 points (out of 5 points).
