Chu Ja-hyun overwhelmed the center of the play in tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy' (played by Yang Ji-hoon, directed by Kim Yong-wan) as Chlora, the core axis of the play, penetrating the center of the play.
In the last broadcast, Chlorine's instinct as a mother who lost her child and the runaway of her entering into a shamanic consciousness to call out the underworld were depicted in earnest. In particular, the past suppressed by evil spirits Bong-su (Chu Ja-hyun) through silver garaji was revealed, providing a decisive turning point in the flow of the story.
In the scene of the ceremony held in the abandoned house, the shaman's form was used to pour out the emotions of anger, sadness, and madness. The spell of the curse, which came out between the fingertips, the grim eyes, and the trembling lips that struck the 魅槌 (a thing that can break a ghostly object), was so intense that it took the viewer's breath away.
Chu Ja-hyun delicately expresses the character's narrative without losing his balance even in the amplitude of extreme emotions, and clearly imprinted the fact that Chlorine is an axis that shakes the entire world view beyond the trigger of a simple event.
Over the course of each episode, Chu Ja-hyun's Chloride has become a deep character where anger, wounds, and hard beliefs intersect. The acting, in which emotions are conveyed before words, and the long lingering effects of different temperatures and texture in each scene, give viewers a strong sense of immersion.
Meanwhile, Chu Ja-hyun's active 'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy' airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. on tvN.
