The broadcast was made at the suggestion of former Gyeonggi Province Governor Nam Kyung-pil, who leads the drug prevention and healing organization Eun-gu. The two focused on highlighting the dangers of drug addiction and the need for recovery.

Host Jung Young-jin drew the line, saying, `This is not a 'laundering' for returning to politics or entertainment industry,' and Don Spike also calmly told his story. He said "I first encountered drugs when I was young. It was because of the recommendations of people around me and my curiosity," he recalled of the beginning.

Don Spike "At first, I think anyone can control it. But at some point, it crosses the line and becomes out of control, and life collapses." Then "Addiction comes quietly. I don't remember what I did and the text I sent also felt like it wasn't me,' he explained of the confusion at the time.

He continued his drug activities while doing broadcasting activities, confessed that the public would not have known because he was cautious in front of the camera. "The problem eventually affected work as more and more time spent on drugs increased."

It is said that he could not avoid the attention of those around him. He added: `Even my acquaintances feel a little strange, but it's hard to notice because the changes are slow."

Don Spike made his debut as a composer in 1996 and made his name as an entertainer, such as an arranger for the song "I'm a Singer" and "My Ugly Baby". However, in September 2022, he was shocked when he was arrested on charges of drug administration and possession at a motel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. According to the investigation, he administered methamphetamine 14 times and handed over ecstasy and methamphetamine to acquaintances 7 times, and he had 20g worth of methamphetamine at the time of his arrest.

In the trial, the first trial sentenced him to three years in prison and five years of probation, but the second trial sentenced him to two years in prison due to the prosecution's appeal. Don Spike appealed against this, but the Supreme Court rejected it and the sentence was confirmed and eventually imprisoned.
