The behind-the-scenes story of the birth of the cat character Ji-ho, who will capture the hearts of the audience with the mascot of the movie Zombie Daughter has been revealed.

The cat character Ji-ho of the movie 「Zombie Daughter」, which is attracting attention as the most anticipated movie in the summer theater, is drawing attention. Ji-ho, who is considered a mascot in the original webtoon, is the cat of Jung-hwan (Cho Jung-seok) and Su-ah (Choi Yuri), and is a cat whose trademark expression is as if it were indifferent and chic. Since cats with strong independent tendencies are not easy to train compared to dogs, making it a big challenge for the production team to live-action their beloved ones who can communicate better than zombies.

In order to realize acting that takes advantage of the characteristics of cats, not just personification, the production team searched the country and found a cheese tabby cat that resembles Ho-hoi, and finally, four cats participated in the audition. Geum-dong was the cat who proudly took the lead role at the end of the so-called 「Hair-flowing audition」.

While other cats were busy hiding or running away as soon as they entered the audition hall, Geum-dong showed the boldness and relaxation of lying down on his stomach as if he were at home. Director Pil Gam-sung quickly saw Geum-dong hugging others and said "'Aeyong' is you!", and confirmed the casting at once.

In addition, Geum-dong showed off his original love and amazing synchro rate with his eyes and mouth as if he had done everything, and made the production team and actors marvel at his unexpected concentration and acting skills on the set.

Many of the scenes originally planned for CG have been converted to actual filming, thanks to Geum-dong, who works on filming with full power with a bite of Churu. Keum-dong was a hidden protagonist who contributed to both the reduction of time and completeness, with director Pilgam-seong smiling, "'If it wasn't for Keum-dong, he would still be filming.'"




Meanwhile, 'Zombie Daughter' is a comic drama about a father of a daughter who went into top-secret training to protect her daughter, who became the last zombie in the world, and will be released on the 30th.
