The movie 'Omniscient Reader's View' unveiled production behind-the-scenes and conceptual art ranging from large-scale VFX to art.
The main task in 'Omniscient Reader's View' is by far VFX. VFX visual effects are a big part of the work, as about 1,300 of the 1,500 cuts are CG. The VFX team devoted their heart and soul to creating and visualizing a world view that has never been seen before, not the world seen in existing works. The production team was the first to produce free visuals and went through a thorough preparation period, such as planning the action movement of actors and creators in advance, and communicated closely with actors by using free visuals as a guide on the scene during the main shoot.

The VFX team devoted themselves to aligning the line between reality and cinematic realization to the effect of designing a creator or wielding a knife. As the amount of VFX is large, director Kim Byung-woo's most important point in 'Omniscient Reader's View' was the balance between reality and fantasy. All situations take place under a fantasy setting, but the core of the production was to make sure that the characters moving in it did not lose their sense of reality. The VFX production of 'Omniscient Reader's View', which was implemented by a veteran crew to find the golden balance between reality and fantasy, will deeply imbue the audience into a grand journey with the characters in the work.
Art has also completed special spaces and items in the world of fiction through constant collaboration with the VFX team and the concept art team. Art director Lee Mok-won worked closely with the VFX team to reduce the sense of heterogeneity when the fresh elements of the original work were implemented in a live-action space or set. The subway, the first place where Kim Dok-ja (Ahn Hyo-seop) faces the moment when the novel becomes a reality, was made as similar to reality as possible so that the audience could naturally fall into the story. "The subway had to be desorbed and damaged. We used a gimbal that can adjust the angle to 90 degrees, and considered the size of the subway and the actual finishing material..." he said, revealing the point where he carefully thought about delivering the liveliness of the subway train compartment that turns 180 degrees upside down. The subway platform, where major events take place in the movie, was also made to feel realistic by making it look like the real thing, and it was also said that each station tried to convey a different feeling by changing the tone so that each scenario could be well revealed. In the belly of Euryong, where Kim Dok-ja breaks through the scenario in earnest, a set was made using a mat for VFX.

Kim Dokja's movement had to feel elastic, and since it is a scene that requires a wide camera angle and wires, the set is detachable from the left and right to the ceiling. The basic frame was made of steel frame to maintain strength, and then finished with balloons to create an optimal set environment for actors' acting and filming. In addition, the weapon used by Kim Dokja, 'broken belief', played the most important role in the late drama, so it was completed with the most effort from the early concept art. The art production of 'Omniscient Reader's Perspective', which was created through elaborate design from the stage of concept art work, will further enhance the reality of the world in the novel and provide an overwhelming sense of immersion to the audience.
Meanwhile, 「Omniscient Reader's View」 will be released on the 23rd as a fantasy action to survive in a world where the world of the novel, which has been serialized for more than a decade, becomes a reality on the day the novel is completed, and Kim, who was the only reader, will be released with Yoo Joong-hyuk, the protagonist of the novel, and his colleagues.
