In the 10th episode of the YouTube entertainment show 「Firework Baseball」 released on the 7th, the Fireworks Fighters won 9-2 against Seongnam High School, the winner of the 79th Golden Lion National High School Baseball Tournament. Immediately after its release, the game exceeded 100,000 viewers at the same time and proved its explosive popularity with up to 238,000.
Lee Dae-eun, who started, summoned 'Electronic mode'. He silenced Seongnam High School's batters with a knuckle curve and proved the truth that the class is eternal. On the other hand, Seongnam High School mobilized Oh Hoon-taek, a former MVP of the Golden Lion, and left-hander Moon Jung-seo, but failed to block the Fighters' lineup.
The game, which had been tight, changed rapidly from the fourth inning. The Fighters, who blocked Lee Dae-eun's crisis with Lee Dae-ho's defense, scored two runs first with Jung Sung-hoon, Park Jae-wook and Kim Jae-ho hitting consecutive hits in the ensuing attack. Since then, Lee Dae-ho and Jung Eui-yoon have made consecutive hits and walked with the opposing balk, leading to a 6-0 run.
In the seventh inning, Yoo Hee-kwan took the mound in relief, but two runs were lost due to consecutive hits and errors. However, he overcame the crisis by reversing the atmosphere with a fantastic check combination with Jung Geun-woo. Since then, Jung Geun-woo has pushed him to the point just before the cold game with a timely hit, and eventually won 9-2 to complete his six-game winning streak.
I didn't let my guard down. In the last 9th inning, the Fighters treated Seongnam High School batters with a fly ball and a double play, finishing the game scoreless. It was a true 'fire match' that took both laughter and skill.
Meanwhile, the Fighters will play Gangneung High School at Munsu Stadium in Ulsan on the 13th, Dong-A University at Gocheok Dome on the 20th, and the independent league national team at Munhak Stadium in Incheon on the 27th.
