Actor Oh Jung-se, who even persuades the villain, once again exceeded his limits through JTBC 'Good Boy'. Behind the ordinary appearance, he left a heavy resonance by breaking down the familiar framework of 'Villain' that hid brutal violence and power madness.

In a recent interview with Sports Chosun held in Frainville, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Oh Jung-se said, "'Good Boy' ended well without any major accidents, and I'm grateful that many people liked it.'"I participated in this work with a sense of justice in support of the 'Good Boy' team."

Min Ju-young, played by Oh Jung-se in the play, is seemingly ordinary like a customs official, but in reality, she is at the center of a huge cartel. "Throughout the 16th part, I approached him as a character who gradually came off and became worse in order to show the villain to the audience without getting bored," he said. "In the beginning, both hair and costume were set as normal, and after the middle, they wanted to transform into a villainous style to visually show the evolution of the character."

In the shooting scene, he tried to capture violence in expressionless and restrained movements, and in the scene where he hit people with the mayor's plaque, he maximized emotionless cruelty. `I tried not to blink even during the close-up and slow shoot, but it was difficult because of the sound and tension,' he said."Min Ju-young is a thorough perfectionist, but she also wanted to express her confidence that she is at the peak of her power and reveals even the clues like a clock without hesitation.'

As for Min Ju-young's narrative "I didn't want to induce sympathy from the viewers. The taste of money and power alone was enough to convey the point that an ordinary person could become a monster"I intended dry evil in contrast to the righteous 'Goodboys" he stressed.

Oh Jung-se also added detail to the character setting. "I hoped that the wounds caused by the Good Boys would be a device to reveal Min Ju-young's 'No-bare " He explained "The wounds remained like traces of the Good Boys and approached them with a feeling of peeling off the masks one by one". In fact, the character's inner side was captured in the appearance through wound makeup on eyebrows or shooting burns.

The collaboration with actors such as Park Bo-gum and Kim So-hyun was also positive. He said "Park Bo-gum was always pleasant and humble even at a difficult scene. That attitude stimulated me. "I want to see with Kim So-hyun "' We reunited after 12 years, and it was nice to see him grow into a mature actor."

He is called a prolific actor, but he also said that there are clear principles in choosing works. He says "When a good work reaches out, I tend to hold it. I want to meet good things with people who are better than certain goals"Each work has different emotions and approaches, so new concerns arise, and they are the driving force for growth."

Through this work, Oh Jung-se wanted to contain a warning about the monsters hidden behind money and power. Through Min Ju-young, I wanted to ask the question of who the 'monster' around us would be"I hope "Good Boy" was a work where we could share our concerns together "

Meanwhile, 'Good Boy' ended with part 16 on the 20th.
