tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama "The Tyrant's Chef" (directed by Jang Tae-yu)", which will premiere in August, is a survival fantasy romantic comedy drama that takes place when a time-slip chef meets the king, the worst tyrant and the owner of an absolute taste.
It is a situation that heralds a fresh transformation of Im Yoon-ah (Yeon Ji-young) with a photo of the professional charm of Chef Yeon Ji-young (Im Yoon-ah), who was previously on the main seat of the Thrista restaurant. Yeon Ji-young, who commanded the kitchen with her lovely and bold personality, solid cooking skills, passion and pride, is seen falling into the chaos of the long past this time, making people curious about the whole story.
The released photo shows Yeon Ji-young's intense charisma in Su-su (a cook who was in charge of making food at a palace feast) and leading the suragan's food. They show off the dignity of the main chef by preparing sura with a solemn face, such as looking at the ingredients with a careful eye and warming up before cooking.
In addition, Yeon Ji-young's subtle smile, which is teaching fusion dishes made by combining modern and royal recipes, and how to enjoy them, also catches the eye. Attention is focusing on whether Yeon Ji-young, who is showing her cooking skills to her heart's content despite unfamiliar spaces and places, will be able to capture the taste of people in the palace.
French chef Yeon Ji-young, who suddenly landed in the past, begins to struggle inside the palace, where the fierce battle is unfolding, using her strong commitment to cooking as a weapon. In particular, Yeon Ji-young is expected to survive as Yeon Ji-young's special Sura, which is only cooking or death, while the opponent who has to treat Sura is a tyrant with a tricky taste and violent temperament.
In addition, Lim Yoon-ah's outspoken performance, which will portray the survival of the left-right and right-handed palace of 21st-century chef Yeon Ji-young, who has time-slipped into the past, is also drawing attention. Im Yoon-ah plans to maximize viewers' immersion by leading the flow of the play with a tantalizing smoke like sesame oil wrapped over bibimbap.
French chef Lim Yoon-ah's delicious fusion dish, which will cause a change in perception within the suragan, can be found in tvN's new Saturday drama "The Tyrant's Chef" which will premiere in August.
