According to Sports Chosun's report on the 1st, Kim Tae-kyun, Yoon Seok-min, Lee Dae-dae, and Shim Soo-chang have confirmed their appearances in the new season of the baseball field and media even after retirement. They are all former stars representing the KBO League and are expected to be the driving force of new baseball entertainment with their intense personalities and careers.
Manager Lee Jong-beom said earlier, `I want to make the Korean baseball boom bigger through baseball contents," he said, expressing his determination to direct. The broadcaster declared a full-fledged competition system through the establishment of a new camp even when most of the existing 'strongest baseball' cast members moved to 'fireball'.
In particular, the cast members who joined this time are not just 'Hwase-sung', but are drawing attention because they have true baseball skills and fandom at the same time.
Kim Tae-kyun is a franchise star of the Hanwha Eagles and is a legendary hitter who has more than 2,000 hits and more than 300 home runs in the KBO. Since retirement, he has been working as a KBSN sports commentator and has devoted himself to fostering young people and producing content to expand the base of baseball.
Yoon Seok-min was the ace of the KIA Tigers. He is a legendary pitcher who led the gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and dominated all KBO multiple wins, strikeouts, and ERA titles in the same year. Currently, he is serving as a SPOTV commentator and shows his cool-headed analysis skills.
Lee Dae-hyung is a representative steal king in the late 2000s, a former KT Wiz member and an icon of foot baseball who won the steal king for four consecutive years. After retirement, he continues to exist with his unique speech and friendly image, crossing entertainment and commentary.
Shim Soo-chang is a pitcher who has built a steady fandom since his days with the LG Twins. Recently, he is also an MBC Sports+ commentator. He previously drew attention by revealing that when he was released from the season 1 of 'strongest baseball', he decided to join after rehabilitation, but the production team stopped contacting him. Therefore, this joining is his comeback and his re-emergence.
Meanwhile, JTBC 'The Greatest Baseball' is scheduled to begin filming in earnest with the aim of airing the new season in September.
