Lee Jong-suk Makes Small-Screen Comeback in tvN’s Realistic Law Drama ‘Law and The City'

On the afternoon of the 1st, tvN held a production presentation for the new Saturday drama 'Seocho-dong' (written by Lee Seung-hyun and directed by Park Seung-woo) at a hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul. Director Lee Jong-seok, Moon Ga-young, Kang Yoo-seok, Ryu Hye-young, Lim Sung-jae and Park Seung-woo attended the event.
Lee Jong-seok will return to his home room for the first time in three years since MBC 'Big Mouse' aired in 2022. Lee Jong-seok said, `The genres I mainly did have strong dramatic content. I thought about a genre I haven't tried before?? It was an everyday thing to look at comfortably. This time, I wanted to do a comfortable drama that I could do with my friends."
In the previous work 'Big Mouse', he was a lawyer, but he spent a lot of time in prison and failed to show his side as a professional. As I was a lawyer this time, I think I needed a talented senior, like working for nine years and being inertia, and asking me if I don't know anything in the building, so I think I talked quickly and thought about how to look professional and real. The actors and all the staff in the field are professionals, so I think it was a work I could do by asking and getting answers when I didn't know. "
"'Seocho-dong' is a work that captures the joy, sorrow and pleasure of five lawyers (lawyers who are employed by law firms and receive salaries) who go to work in Seocho-dong Law Town every day. Based on the experiences that writer Lee Seung-hyun, an incumbent lawyer, sees and hears, he realistically depicts the daily lives of lawyers in Seocho-dong Law Town, where cold litigation comes and goes every day. In addition, actors Lee Jong-seok (played by Ahn Joo-hyung), Moon Ga-young (played by Kang Hee-ji), Kang Yoo-seok (played by Cho Chang-won), Ryu Hye-young (played by Bae Moon-jeong), and Lim Sung-jae (played by Ha Sang-ki) who will make a pleasant rice friend chemistry against the backdrop of the Hyungmin Building in Seocho-dong Law Town, where various law firms are gathered, are also drawing attention. They will create new fun by joining the five lawyers of Assault, who are united in various personalities.
'Seocho-dong' will premiere at 9:20 p.m. on the 5th.
