At the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Mary Kills People' production presentation held at the MBC headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 31st, Lee Min-ki said "There are two roles" and "As a terminally ill cancer patient and police role".
'Mary Kills People" is a suspense drama about a doctor who helps untreatable patients die of assisted death and a detective who tracks them down. It will provide viewers with deep empathy and something to think about by reflecting social discourse in a timely manner with a drama about assisted death that is becoming an issue around the world.
Lee Min-ki, who is well-known as a genius of transformation, demonstrates perfect character digestibility with a completely different face and atmosphere for each work, portrays Cho Hyun-woo, a terminally ill cancer patient who is useless in any treatment, with dense acting skills. Lee Min-ki is a person who causes aid deaths. Not only did Cho Hyun-woo play the role, but he also played the role of Ban Ji-hoon. Disguised as Cho Hyun-woo, an undercover investigation is conducted to catch Woo So-jung (Lee Bo-young)'s illegal work", foreshadowing the unexpected character.
MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama `Merry Kills People" will premiere on August 1st (Friday) at 10 p.m..
