In commemoration of the 30th Busan International Film Festival, this year's official poster catches the eye with 'Tsangu', which symbolically contains the identity of the festival.
The seal placed on the intense red sand is in place as if it engraved the passion and time that audiences and filmmakers have spent together over the past 30 years.
The calligraphy number '30', written here with a brush, is an intense stroke that captures the accumulated history of the film festival. '30', expressed in the open seal and delicate brush touch on the red sand texture, and the text placed on it blends tradition and modern sense to complete a harmonious aesthetic.
The poster design, which visually embodied the new leap forward along with the 30 years that the Busan International Film Festival has taken, was planned and designed by Choi Soon-dae, the art director of the Busan International Film Festival.
The 30th Busan International Film Festival will be held for 10 days from September 17 to September 26.
