Director Jang Jun-hwan's 2003 release film 'Protect the Earth!The remake of 'Bugonia' (directed by Yorgos Lanthimos) was named in the competition section of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.

The "Bugonia" has been invited to compete at the Venice Film Festival, which is filled with returning masterpieces, more prominent and colorful than any other year.

Director Yorgos Lanthimos, who made his presence in the world film industry by winning the Grand Prize for Notable Eyes at the 62nd Cannes International Film Festival with his third feature film 'Fang', won the Best Screenplay Award at the 68th Venice Film Festival with 'Alps' and the Best Jury Award at the 68th Cannes Film Festival with 'The Lobster'.
