First broadcast on August 2nd, 'Esquire' is an office growth drama about Kang Hyo-min (Jeong Chae-yeon), a new lawyer who is not good at social life but has a stronger sense of justice than anyone else, meeting Seok-hoon (Lee Jin-wook), a cool-headed senior lawyer, and growing into a real lawyer.
Kang Hyo-min, played by Jung Chae-yeon in the play, is a character who shows his presence with excellent intuition and quickness in crisis situations, although he is clumsy and sloppy. The gradual growth of experiencing events is expected to stimulate empathy among beginners in society.
The photos released showed Kang Hyo-min's three-dimensional growth process, including his first appearance at work sitting side by side with his colleagues in a suit, a scene of struggling while writing with wet hair, and a confident appearance in court. Various facial expressions, from the tension of newbies to the sense of responsibility in practice, add vitality to the character.
Through this work, Jeong Chae-yeon plans to portray the real growth period of a new lawyer who is not afraid of making mistakes in a pleasant and lovely way. 'Esquire' is a work that can evenly capture Jung Chae-yeon's unique bright and serious charm, and it is expected to provide a new point of contact with viewers.
JTBC's new Saturday drama 'esquire' will premiere at 10:40 p.m. on August 2.
