Lee Sun-bin's horror noise, raspy popularity..The box office is back in second place, beating Hollywood's new works

The horror thriller 'Noise' (directed by Kim Soo-jin, produced by Fine Cut) has surpassed the daily audience on the release date (June 25) and backtracked the box office, creating a box office noise among Hollywood masterpieces.

As of the 30th of last month, 'Noise' ranked second in the overall movie box office, overtaking 'How to Train Your Dragon' after topping the Korean movie box office.

On top of that, 'Noise' showed amazing performance on the 30th, surpassing the number of audiences on the day of its release. 'Noise' drew 33,392 daily viewers on the 30th, far exceeding the daily audience of 28,162 on June 25, the release date. Compared to other films with high opening-day and weekend scores, 'Noise' has set a long-term box office myth, showing a surprising reverse of the opening-day score since Monday.

'Noise' recorded a cumulative audience of 232,961 until June 30, and the daily audience of 33,392 also surpassed the 17,180 of 'How to Train Your Dragon' and narrowed the box office gap to 52,402 of the box office's No. 1 movie 'F1 The Movie'. In particular, 'Noise' has consistently maintained the top spot in seat sales among Hollywood masterpieces, and on June 30, it showed a stable box office trend, with 13.9% of seat sales, beating competitors such as 'F1 The Movie' (7.4%), 'How to Train Your Dragon' (8.6%), and 'High Five' (6.8%).

As such, the topical film 'Noise', which maintains a stable box office trend even in the second week of its release, continues 'Noise' marketing only through voluntary word-of-mouth from the audience. Since its release, 'Noise', which has been popular through word of mouth, has been overwhelmingly supported by audiences in their teens and 20s, ranging from actors' passionate performance to creepy suspense production and cool sound production to blow off the heat. As students' summer vacation began in July, 'Noise' is expected to continue its success this week.

'Noise' is about a real-life horror thriller in which a woman encounters a mysterious incident as she searches for her missing sister in a noisy apartment complex every day due to floor noise. Lee Sun-bin, Kim Min-seok, Han Soo-ah, Ryu Kyung-soo, Jeon Ik-ryeong, and Baek Joo-hee appeared, and it is Kim Soo-jin's first directing debut.
