'Physical 100' confirmed to be produced in the US... Netflix 'Global Expansion in earnest'



Netflix has started to expand the world stage by officially producing the U.S. version of 'Physical: 100'.

Netflix confirmed production of "Physical: 100 USA" (tentative) on the 16th"In other words, "The physical composition is the anchor of global expansion that is absolutely strong.'

'Physical: 100' is a Korean original survival entertainment invested by Netflix, and 100 physical strongest people from all walks of life have drawn attention with the concept of competing for the peak of 'perfect body' through various missions. Season 1 became the first Korean entertainment show to top Netflix's global top 10, and season 2 also drew a global response.




The U.S. version features selected elite participants in sports, fitness, and military fields. He heralded another intense survival with extreme physical competition.

Yoo Ki-hwan, director of Netflix's non-fiction division, expressed his expectation, saying that "'Physical: 100' is a content that has been loved by viewers all over the world and proved the power of Korean entertainment.'

Netflix is also planning a European version after the U.S. version. It will be produced in the same format to accelerate the global expansion of the 'Physical' series.




Meanwhile, the third season of the series, 'Physical: Asia', is set to be released in the fourth quarter of this year. It is a format in which representatives from Asian countries compete against each other, and the news of Philippine boxing champion Manny Pacquiao's appearance is added, raising expectations. In this regard, director Yoo stated that \'Physical: Asia' will show the true face of a more advanced physical survival.
