Responding to fans' love..Wednesday Season 2 Lead Role Confirmed in Korea

Season 2 of "Wendday" is a Netflix series about Wednesday Adams, who returns to Nevermore Academy for the new semester, facing a more chilling and bizarre mystery surrounding him, searching for the truth behind it. Netflix's global top 10 TV (English) series "Wendday", which caused a worldwide syndrome with more than 1.7 billion hours of viewing, returns to season 2, with director Tim Burton, Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers confirming their visit to Korea, making fans excited.
Season 2 of 'Wendday' will hold a fan event of all-time scale at Yeongdeungpo Times Square on the afternoon of August 10th and meet with Korean fans for the first time. The fan event, which will be held under the concept of the entrance ceremony for the 'Nevermore Academy', provides a variety of programs to experience firsthand, such as wearing costumes and props in the work in a space that vividly embodies the unique world view of Wendday. In addition, there will be a special time to communicate more closely with fans through various programs, from Q&A interviews with director Tim Burton, Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers to quizzes. From July 15 to 23, this event will recruit applicants for only nine days through the website of the 「Nevermore Academy」, and anyone over the age of 15 can apply.
On August 11, the day after the fan event, Ewha Women's University will host the GV of Season 2 of 'Wendday', also known as 'Wendday Literature'. Director Tim Burton, Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers will participate in the GV, where in-depth talks about the work will be held with the hosting of film journalist Lee Eun-sun. In particular, director Tim Burton's introduction of new characters in Season 2, the focus of directing Season 2, the production process, etc., as well as behind-the-scenes acting stories, episodes on set, and previews of Part 2 to be released in September. GV, which covers a wide range of contents and will remain in fans' memories for a long time, will be available from July 28 to August 1, and details will be announced later on Netflix Korea's official SNS.
In addition, as various contents are scheduled to be filmed in Korea on the occasion of the team's special visit to Korea, it is expected that fans can enjoy 'tteokbap'.
Season 2 Part 1 of 'Wendday', which draws expectations with the emergence of new characters, will be released only on Netflix on August 6th, following the hot love and the highly acclaimed season 1 around the world.
