'Try', which will premiere on the 25th, is a growth drama in which eccentric coach Joo-ram (Yoon Gye-sang) and last-place rugby team Hanyang Sports High School run toward winning the National Sports Festival, armed with fresh material and pleasant teamwork.
Writer Im Jin-ah's script, which won the best prize in the SBS drama script contest, and director Jang Young-seok of 「Model Taxi 2」 joined forces to increase the completeness. On top of that, it is known that young actors such as Lim Semi, Kim Yo-han, Kim Yi-joon and Lee Soo-chan have been transformed into rugby departments and received special training, adding to expectations for a real game scene.
'Tri' is SBS's third sports product after 'stove league' (baseball) and 'racket boys' (badminton), and this time, rugby is brought to the fore for the first time in a Korean drama. The dynamic game scene under the refreshing summer sky, a pleasant narrative that mixes the sweat, spirit, and cheerfulness of youth, is the point to watch.
Yoon Kye-sang is a comical and ingenious eccentric director with the nickname 「Face of Heaven」, and rugby team members, including Kim Yo-han, draw a narrative of challenge, frustration, and growth with different personalities and stories. An anti-war boy boasting animal physicality and an SNS celebrity-type character with an attention-seeking temperament will also add interest.
'Tri' will stimulate viewers' emotions with a drama that supports the lives of young people who stand up again despite failure, not just a sports competition.
SBS 'Tri: We Become Miracles' will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on the 25th.
