The problematic work 'Trigger' is a hot topic in Korea, no longer 'Gun Clean Country'.

Netflix held a production presentation for the new original series 'Trigger' (played by Kwon Oh-seung and directed by Kwon Oh-seung and Kim Jae-hoon) at Hotel Naru Seoul M Gallery Naru in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 22nd. Director Kim Nam-gil, Kim Young-kwang, Park Hoon, Gil Hae-yeon and Kwon Oh-seung attended the event.

'Trigger' is a gun disaster action thriller about two men with guns for their own reasons amid the delivery of illegal guns of unknown origin and incessant gun incidents in South Korea, a gun-cleaning country, depicting a chaotic world where safety has been removed, events that stimulate triggers in people's minds, and dynamic gun action. Actors such as Kim Nam-gil, Kim Young-kwang, Park Hoon and Gil Hae-yeon appeared.




Director Kwon Oh-seung, who wrote and directed the play, said "When I live a frustrating reality, I imagine what it would be like to have a single handle. He explained, "The work started from such a dull imagination." Kim Nam-gil said "I was attracted to the director's 'expletive imagination' that I came to appear." Kim Young-kwang said, "I was curious about how Moon-baek's friend would change, and I thought I should play this role because he is a character who asks questions to people."

Director Kwon also said, `The society is getting anxious as the conflict between Korean society and the unfortunate incident occurred. I thought about how people would react if someone reversely used this and did something bad with a bullet. I decided to plan for the first time because I thought it would be a decision when I met that person's story. The difference from other actions in 'Trigger' is that guns are often used as a tool for fighting, and 'Trigger' is a very different action depending on whose hand the gun is in, as the gun acts at the center of the story. I thought that the action coming from there would be different when the person who handled the gun well who had been in the military grabbed the gun and the person who did not know the gun at all grabbed the gun, so I thought that the action would be different from the other action."

Kim Nam-gil then tried to do an understated action. My character, Lee Do, has been thinking about whether it is right to hold a gun to protect someone, and for that reason, I think it could be a way to put down the gun and save others. Since he is a person who has values rather than actions that come out of ordinary gun actions and do away with them, he seems to have done a restrained action rather than just radical. I think it'll be different conceptually than other normal actions", he explained.

The combination of actors is also different. Director Kwon Oh-seung said, "Trigger" is based on a gun but on a person. The character Lee Do has to have weight, authenticity, and appeal to persuade viewers, and I thought that the synchronicity with Kim Nam-gil, who I have usually seen, was high. Personally, if you look at Kim Nam-gil's eyes, there is a strange magic. I wondered if such a part would convey authenticity to many viewers who watch 'Trigger'. In the character Moon-baek, Yeong-gwang was the first actor that came to mind after finishing the script. In my view, Kim Young-kwang is an actor whose breadth and depth of acting continue to evolve. So I thought he might be an actor named Moon-baek who plays various characters, so I gave him the script first. Gil Hae-yeon is very good at whatever character she gives, and Park Hoon's character is small and weak, and I thought it would be nice to have charisma that can encompass the organization and to have charisma that cannot be seen. It looks sharp, but on the other hand, there is a warm part, so I joined Park Hoon. Gil Hae-yeon wants to make Kim Hye-ja the second mother of the nation."

'Trigger' starts from the point where mysterious guns are randomly delivered to the Republic of Korea, a gun-clean country in the play. Coincidentally, on the 20th, when a father shot his son with a priest's gun in an apartment in Songdo, Incheon, the Republic of Korea was turned upside down. In this situation, 'Trigger', which is about to be released, was scheduled to hold a fan event for 'Trigger Talk and Shot' from 7:15 p.m. on the 22nd and broadcast it live on Naver, but announced that the fan event would be held but the live broadcast would be canceled. It did not give details on the reason for the cancellation of the live broadcast of the event, but it is speculated that he may have been conscious of a gun accident.

Coach Kwon said, `It hurts me that an unfortunate accident has occurred. I want to express regret that I don't want that to happen. There is little association with 'trigger'. "If you look at the story and results of holding the gun, it will produce results in a completely different approach and different way from what happened yesterday, so I think the heartbreaking incident will be left as the case and the work will be clarified as a work."

I think it would be nice if you could understand the people around you and look at the people who catch the gun in 'Trigger' and look at it as a way that you shouldn't make that choice in the end."

In the early part of the play, there was a scene in which a person with a gun opened fire on some of the society's evils, and it was also viewed as a "crime beautification". However, director Kwon said, `We cannot glorify crimes. I don't think that makes sense. One episode is also part of this whole trigger. The case is all connected, and Lee Do speaks out at the end, and if you look at the voice, I think it has nothing to do with beautification and will show the direction that this work shows"It raised expectations for the end.

'Trigger' will be released on Netflix on the 25th.
