According to the legal community on the 30th, the Seoul Western District Court's Criminal Agreement Department 11 (Chief Judge Kim Woo-hyun) held the first trial of A's quasi-rape charges on the 29th.
On the same day, A's lawyer asked for a private conversion of the trial, but the court pointed out that "the defendant's concerns are not a direct reason" but that "it is possible to be private if the victim's privacy is revealed during the questioning process and secondary damage is concerned.'
The prosecution said "The main evidence is CCTV of the accompanying car, and the crime scene is captured starkly."If it is reproduced in a public trial, there is a concern about secondary damage." In the end, the court accepted the prosecution's opinion and changed the hearing to private, but said the sentence would be a public trial.
A is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in a parking lot in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, at around 3:30 a.m. on June 21. The police arrested A immediately after the incident, and the court issued an arrest warrant. After that, the prosecution arrested and prosecuted A on the 3rd of last month.
Meanwhile, A is known to have appeared in ENA and SBS Plus entertainments 'I'm Solo' and spin-off 'I'm Solo, and then Love Continues' and the repercussions are growing.
