'Esquire' has been on fire for two consecutive weeks, with Lee Jin-wook and Jung Chae-yeon ranking first and second respectively in the TV drama's topicality. It also ranked second with 4.5 million views in the Netflix Global Top 10 non-English TV show category, and succeeded in entering the top 10 in 47 countries, dominating the overseas market.
At the center of the 'esquire's gust is a subtitle with the title of each episode.
First, in the first episode 'Induction', the passion of youth was captured through the adaptation period of new lawyer Kang Hyo-min (Jeong Chae-yeon). In the second episode 'Teabag and the intensity of love must be soaked in hot water to be known', it resonated by showing the weight of love revealed in the crisis. In the 3rd episode 'Nabi Gochi', it was pointed out that overprotection could be poisonous, and in the 4th episode 'Rex Talionis', Yoon Seok-hoon (Lee Jin-wook) shuddered viewers by carrying out court justice and his own justice at the same time.
In the 5th episode 'Salier's monologue', he stimulated anger by portraying contradictory credentials in front of genius, and in the 6th episode 'Love is also weak in mind and body...?' embraced the wounds of love with legal principles and gave warm comfort to viewers. The overwhelming difference between 'Squire' is that it contains a message that directly touches human emotions in each episode, not just a legal material that ends in victory or defeat.
After a fierce court battle, he even brought a sound that touched people's hearts. Expectations are focused on what subtitle 'esquire', which has three beats of buzz, ratings, and global performance, will shake viewers again in the future.
