Ko Hyun-jung X Jang Dong-yoon, this time, 'Killer Cooperation'...Genre restaurant SBS's Friday-Saturday drama is going to explode

SBS continues the myth of 「Freedom to watch genre」 once again.

The new Friday-Saturday drama 'The Devil: The Killer's Outing' (directed by Byun Young-joo, scripted by Lee Young-jong, produced by Merry Christmas, Megamonster, and a film production company) is an ultra-high-density crime thriller about the copycat crime surrounding the serial killer 'The Devil' caught more than 20 years ago and a detective who has hated all his life to find out the truth. Expectations are exploding even before the broadcast due to the drastic transformation of Ko Hyun-jung and Jang Dong-yoon.

In this work, the production team, which is considered a genre optimization combination, joined forces. Director Byun Young-joo, who proved intense suspense through the film 'Hwacha', and writer Lee Young-jong, who wrote 'Seoul Spring' and 'Black House', met to complete the screen-class density and story. Viewers are already predicting the birth of 'life drama' due to the synergy between the two optimized for the well-made genre.

Above all, attention is paid to the fact that 'Warts: Murderers' Outing' is an SBS Friday-Saturday drama program. SBS's Friday-Saturday genre has already become a "Trustable Brand" among viewers, as it is the time when big hits such as 'Readers of Evil', 'Exemplary Taxi' Series, 'Fiery Priest', 'Good Partner', 'Connection', 'Detective X' were born. Another legend is expected to begin again this time with a series of works that have penetrated the limits of the genre, from thrillers to action, court and fantasy.

Expectations reached their peak just with the teaser, poster, and still shot released. Ko Hyun-jung's overwhelming eyes, grotesque smile, and cold and solid Jang Dong-yoon's presence in a death row prison uniform drew attention, leaving an impact that was different from the existing genre. Attention is focusing on whether SBS's best genre and viewers' favorite Friday-Saturday drama can be proved once again.

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Warts: The Murderer's Outing' will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on September 5.
