Ko Hyun-jung X Jang Dong-yoon's 'Warts The Killer's Outing,' Revealing Strong Character Posters

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Warts: Murderer's Outing' released a poster of the characters of the four leading actors ahead of the first full-fledged broadcast, exploding viewers' expectations with an intense atmosphere.

'Warts: The Outing of a Killer' is a crime thriller about a rare serial killer who was arrested more than 20 years ago. It tells the story of a detective (Jang Dong-yoon) who has hated all his life and conducts an unexpected collaborative investigation with his own mother 'Magwis' (Koh Hyun-jung). The solid narrative and the overwhelming acting skills of the actors combine, making it one of the most anticipated works even before the broadcast.

The released character poster left a strong impression with a compressed copy of the character and the actors' eye acting.

First, Ko Hyun-jung revealed the identity of 'warts' with a detached yet eerie look. In a green screen "Are you afraid you'll look like me?The copy " amplifies the question why she became a serial killer who murdered five people.

Jang Dong-yoon encapsulated the character's inner conflict with his unshakable eyes in the red poster. The phrase "That dirty, terrible blood is running through my body" symbolizes hatred toward my mother "The mantis" and the bond of blood that cannot escape at the same time. Through this work, Jang Dong-yoon's intense acting transformation is predicted, and expectations are high.

He completed the poster with eyes that contain both softness and sharpness as Choi Joong-ho, the chief of the violent crime investigation team. The line "You save five people because five people are dead." adds tension to the play, showing both a sense of responsibility as a police officer and a human aspect.

Lee El was Kim Na-hee, the head of the violent crime investigation team, and showed charismatic eyes. "Now I see you. The famous "Warts" line suggests a face-to-face encounter with Ko Hyun-jung and heralds an intense confrontation. It is expected that EL's unique strong energy will bring another tension to the work.

The poster's release alone is drawing attention, and the genre fun and the overwhelming presence of actors are considered to be works that will create synergy. Attention is focusing on the first broadcast of what impact the 20-year-old truth surrounding 'warts' and the development of new events will have.

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Warts: The Murderer's Outing' will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on September 5.
