Actor Park Jung-min said, "I tried to play a two-man role for the first time, and Yeon Sang-ho was generous."
On the morning of the 22nd, a press conference was held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University branch in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the production of the mystery film 'Face' (directed by Yeon Sang-ho and produced by Wow Point). The production briefing session was attended by Park Jung-min, who played two roles including Lim Young-kyu's young age and his son Lim Dong-hwan, and Kwon Hae-hyo, who played the present role of Lim Young-kyu, Shin Hyun-bin, who has never seen the face of her husband Lim Young-kyu and her son Dong-hwan, Lim Sung-jae, the president of the Cheonggyecheon sheath factory where Jung Young-hee worked, Han Ji-hyun, who directed a documentary about the life of Lim Dong-hwan, and director Yeon Sang-ho.
Park Jung-min said of the process of trying to play his first two roles as a father and son at the same time, `I thought it would be strange to the audience if I played both father and son at the same time. Also, I thought it would be fun because I've never tried it as an actor. I offered director Yeon Sang-ho a two-person role, but he was really generous. I think director Yeon Sang-ho was trying to save production costs."
Formally invited to the 50th Toronto International Film Festival Special Presentation Section, 'Face' tells the story of a blind but reborn man, a master of all fields, and his son digging into the mystery of the death of his wife and mother, who have been buried for 40 years. Park Jung-min, Kwon Hae-hyo, Shin Hyun-bin, Lim Sung-jae, and Han Ji-hyun appeared, and Yeon Sang-ho, director of 'Train to Busan'Ban Peninsula', took the megaphone. It will be released on September 11.
