'Squire' → 'Fine The Towns' → 'Summer Season 3'…SLL accounts for half of global top 10

The works produced by SLL swept the global OTT market and proved the power of K-Content again. As of August 20, four out of eight Korean-made contents, half of which were ranked in the top 10 major global OTT platforms, were counted as works born by SLL's hands.

On Netflix, JTBC's episode 'Squire: Lawyers Who Dream of becoming a Lawyer' ranked second in the non-English series Global Top 10 shortly after its release, ranking first in Korea's Top 10. With the new lawyer's growth story and realistic description of the court, it drew favorable reviews at home and abroad, recording a viewership of 9% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 8.3% nationwide (based on Nielsen Korea paid households). In particular, it has maintained a high viewing ranking in Asia and South America, continuing its global box office.

On Disney+, 'Fine: Mountaineers' and 'Good Guy' settled in the Global Top 10 side by side. Since its release in July, it has ranked No. 1 in Korea and ranked No. 9 in the global TV show category, delightfully telling the gullible story of a living hillbill surrounding an underwater treasure ship. 'Good Man' is exploding expectations for the second half of the story, ranking 9th globally and 3rd in Korea.

On Amazon Prime Video, 'The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3' produced by SLL US label Wiip has been at the center of the topic for more than a month, maintaining its No. 1 ranking in the global rankings. It attracted more than 25 million cumulative viewers in the first week of its release, confirming its extended popularity than its predecessor. It has demonstrated the presence of the global original series by drawing overwhelming responses in key markets such as the U.S., the U.K., Germany, and Brazil.

SLL accelerated its overseas expansion by establishing a stable profit structure through strategic production tailored to the concept of each work and target audience, multilateral distribution cooperation with global OTT and broadcasters, and monopoly and union sales.

A SLL official said "Customized production and distribution strategies tailored to the characteristics of each platform led to a surplus conversion."We will continue to strengthen our position in the global market as a comprehensive IP company encompassing dramas, entertainment, movies, and music in the future."
