SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 「"Murder's Outing" (directed by Byun Young-joo, scripted by Lee Young-jong) surpassed 10% of viewership in the second episode, capturing the home turf with meticulous development, dramatic transformation of actors, and sensational directing right after the first episode. Above all, the overwhelming presence of all-time legend Ko Hyun-jung instantly fascinated viewers.
In the play, Ko Hyun-jung took on the role of Jeong Yi-shin, a serial killer who became called 'warts' by brutally killing men suspected of violence against women or child abuse. Whenever he appears with cold eyes and delicate expressions, he takes over the scene, giving viewers intense goosebumps.
Jeong In-shin is an object of lifelong hatred to his son Cha Soo-yeol (played by Jang Dong-yoon), but he is also an object of reverence to someone. In fact, in the first and second episodes, Seo Seo-wan (played by Lee Tae-gu) was depicted worshiping Jung Shin like a fanatic. In the meantime, the production team released a still cut of the scene of Jung Shin's first murder ahead of the third episode.
In the picture, Jung In-shin is pacing in front of his house late at night, and soon falls down by the well with his whole body covered in blood, smiling grotesquely. The red blood splashed over the white dress and the blood stream flowing from the well create eerie tension.
The production team said, "Today's broadcast will reveal why Jung Yi-shin committed the first murder and the moment when she had to become a 'warts'" The scene where actor Ko Hyun-jung expressed her madness with blood all over her body was so intense that it made her exclaim, 'As expected,' Please look forward to it," he said.
Jung Shin's brutal first murder and the reason can be found in the third episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Warts: Murderers' Outing' at 9:50 p.m. today (12th).
