CJ ENM will join hands with Kakao Entertainment to produce a global K-band that will represent this era.

CJ ENM (CEO Yoon Sang-hyun) announced on the 30th that it will sign a partnership with Kakao Entertainment (co-CEO Kwon Ki-soo and Jang Yoon-joong) and promote a global K-band making project together through Mnet 'Steelheart Club'. CJ ENM will be in charge of program planning and production, while Kakao Entertainment will be in charge of program music distribution and album planning, production and management of the band that was finally born. By combining CJ ENM's content production capabilities and Kakao Entertainment's know-how in the music and artist IP business, it plans to introduce a next-generation iKONIC band that will continue the global K-band boom.

Mnet 'Steelheart Club', which will premiere at 10 p.m. on October 21, is a global band-making project in which individual participants from each band position, including guitar, drum, bass, vocal, and keyboard, survive to become the last headliner band with their music, emotions, and hot youth as weapons. It plans to draw the birth journey of the next generation of global iKONIC bands that combine star quality, musicality and passion. Actor Moon Ga-young will participate as MC, and Jung Yong-hwa, Lee Jang-won, Sunwoo Jung-ah and Ha Sung-woon will join the director lineup to create a new global band from various perspectives beyond the genre.

CJ ENM is in charge of planning and producing the entire program based on its unique content production capabilities. Mnet has been leading the K-pop market trend by successfully leading big audition projects such as 'Superstar K', 'Show Me the Money', 'Boyz Planet', and 'I-Land'. This time, it will expand its scope to the band genre through 'Steelheart Club', and introduce a new participatory survival format in which global fans create their own band combinations. Through this, CJ ENM aims to contribute to the diversification of K-POP genres and the expansion of the global band market.

Kakao Entertainment will be in charge of planning, producing, and managing the band's album, which was finally born through survival, as well as distributing music presented by the participants of Steel Heart Club. It plans to showcase music containing pure passion and energy presented by participants through various domestic and international platforms so that music fans around the world can enjoy and cheer together on the birth journey of the new band Rookie. In addition, they plan various activities such as album release and performance and take charge of all-round management so that the final members who have completed the survival can grow into a global band with their musical personality and charm.
