In the second episode of the TV CHOSUN weekend miniseries 'Confidence Man KR', which aired on the 7th, the characters' unusual operations and explosive breathing shone. It is not just a caper comic, but it has fascinated viewers by capturing social messages and mysteries at the same time.
In the play, Yoon Yi-rang (Park Min-young), James (Park Hee-soon), and Myung Ku-ho (Joo Jong-hyuk) performed an unpredictable operation to perfectly deceive suspicious Jeon Tae-soo (Jung Woong-in). The life-threatening psychological battle, which began with the Philippine kidnapping drama, led to a decisive blow that earned Jeon Tae-soo's trust. In the end, when Jeon Tae-soo was on the verge of a search and seizure, he tried to move 50 billion won from the secret safe abroad, and Yoon and the team dug into the gap and completed a great trick.
In particular, the scene where James and Yoon Ryeo, who turned into bookkeepers, threw the entire money bag into the air as soon as Jeon Tae-soo disguised his relief campaign and moved his slush funds to a chartered plane was overwhelming. Jeon Tae-soo, who chased after him with a parachute, screamed at the fact that there was only white paper in his money bag, and viewers were enthusiastic about the exhilarating ending of the `Fraudsters' Scam' completed.
After the incident, the three shared the secrets of the carefully crafted operation. James mobilized all the fake IRS investigators, disguised data, and even human connection with the Marine Corps, and Myung Ku-ho completely passed Jeon Tae-soo's loyalty test and gained trust. In the end, the money siphoned off was anonymously donated to shelters for young people preparing for self-reliance, resulting in meaningful results.
But the tension continued. After Jeon Tae-soo's emergency arrest on charges of child abuse and special imprisonment, Yun Yi-rang remained alone, signaling a cool turnaround by presenting the ending of 'Checkmate', which hints at the truth of past kidnappings.
