Fantagio Confirms Production Of SBS' Friday-Saturday Drama 'Director Kim'

Fantagio, a comprehensive entertainment company, announced on the 11th that its SBS masterpiece, the new Friday-Saturday drama 'Director Kim', will be broadcast in 2026.
The drama is about a middle-aged man who hid his past as a special agent in North Korea and lived as an ordinary office worker, and actress So Ji-seop, who was acclaimed for his splendid action with the Netflix drama `Gwangjang`````````````````````````````````````````````````. The original work of `Director Kim' is a webtoon of the same name organized by `Park Tae-joon Cartoon Company" and has maintained its No. 1 position on Naver's Tuesday Webtoon for nearly four years.
Fantagio has already produced two dramas based on the webtoon of the same name and aired them on KBS last year, and has established itself as a comprehensive content company in name and reality by continuing its production of the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama `Director Kim.'
Fantagio Chairman Nam Goong-gyeon said, `We will introduce a series of dramas based on the original webtoon with completeness following last year,' and added, `We will secure content that is both subjective and workable, and use the know-how we have accumulated so far to produce works.'
Meanwhile, Fantagio has a lineup of actors with a variety of charms from the mainstream, such as Baek Yoon-sik, Cha Eun-woo, Kim Sun-ho, Ong Seong-wu, and Lee Sung-kyung, as well as a number of musicians, including Astro, Lunate, and Lee Chang-seop, and has entered the content production business since 2022.
