KBS2's new Saturday miniseries 'The Last Summer' (script Jeon Yu-ri, director Min Yeon-hong), which is scheduled to premiere on November 1, is a remodeled romance drama that unfolds when a man and a woman, who have been friends since childhood, face the truth of their first love hidden in Pandora's box.
Kim Gun-woo meets viewers as Seo Soo-hyuk, the youngest son of Korea's No. 1 law firm Seo & Ju, and a lawyer specializing in appeals. Su-hyuk is the only one in the company who has the unrivaled ability to overturn the tricky case that went all the way to appeals and appeals, but when he took over the case related to Song Ha-kyung (Choi Sung-eun) in the past, he lost for the first time, and his winning rate fell from 100% to 99%. In addition, Su-hyuk is said to have a unique habit of organizing the situation with nine bingo boards in daily life as well as about the trial, adding interest.
The released still shows Kim Gun-woo, who is completely united with Seo Soo-hyuk. Kim Gun-woo's neatly raised hairstyle and neat suit fit create a sophistication different from the previous intense image. It also catches the eye as it gives a glimpse of his professional moment as he sits in the defense and is immersed in winning the trial.
On the other hand, Kim Gun-woo's smile, which crosses seriousness and tenderness, also attracts attention. He reveals his strong presence as a lawyer for Doha in the legal battle between Baek Do-ha (Lee Jae-wook) and Ha-kyung. In addition, Su-hyuk, who was reunited with Ha-kyung, who had dropped her winning rate to 99 percent in the past, is once again entangled with her, and in the process, Kim Gun-woo will delicately portray Su-hyuk 's appearance to Ha-kyung.
Kim Gun-woo, who has performed in dramas 'The Glory', 'Catch the Ghost', 'Live', 'Fight My Way', is expected to show the essence of dandyness through 'Last Summer'. In particular, expectations are even higher as he, who left a deep impact as the role of Son Myung-oh from 'The Glory', exudes a 180-degree change in charm with the character of 'Seo Soo-hyuk'.
Director Min Yeon-hong, who showed sensational directing skills in the series "They Were" and "Insider," and writer Jeon Yu-ri, who was recognized for her delicate writing skills with "Kiss Six Senses" and "Radio Romance," joined forces with "The Last Summer."
Meanwhile, KBS2 'The Last Summer' will air at 9:20 p.m. on November 1.
