Actor Joo Jong-hyuk showed a heavy seriousness at the forefront of power.

Joo Jong-hyuk played Park Chang-hee, a cool-headed and serious bodyguard, in Disney+'s original series 'Pukguksong' (scripted by Jeong Sang-kyung, director Kim Hee-won and Heo Myung-haeng), which was released on the 10th, and doubled the tension of the play by staying in the middle of the election campaign.

In the episode released on that day, Chang-hee managed the entire camp with Jang Joon-ik's closest aide, but failed to protect him in the end. Since then, he has stood by Moon Joo (played by Jun Ji-hyun), who ran for president, and silently played a role in the whirlwind of power.

Joo Jong-hyuk clearly revealed the character of 'Park Chang-hee' with his clean acting. It shows the unshakable weight even in short lines and instant scenes, and realistically depicts the hardness of a person who holds out at the forefront of power. The simple expression rather emphasized the rigidity of the character and impressed the viewers.

In particular, he captured subtle emotions even in a cold attitude and built up various bonds of the character. Even in a crisis, the human aspect passing by added to the reality of the play while performing the mission without shaking.

Joo Jong-hyuk's performance proved the expansion of his acting spectrum as an actor. In the simultaneous airing of 'Confidence Man KR', he acted as a pleasant youngest con artist 'Myung Gu-ho' who leads people to laughter by deceiving people with a disguise, while in 'Polaris', he showed another aspect by capturing human texture in heavy seriousness and understated acting, perfectly digesting a distinctly different character.

Joo Jong-hyuk, who has constantly challenged new characters, is solidifying his position as a next-generation actor by catching the eye once again in this 'Polaris'. Expectations are also high for his performance in the future.

Meanwhile, Disney+'s original series 'Polaris' is set to be released 4-5 times on September 17. It will feature 6-7 episodes on September 24 and 8-9 episodes on October 1.
