On the morning of the 2nd, Disney+ held a production presentation for the new original series 'Polaris' (played by Jeong Gam-gyeong, directed by Kim Hee-won and Heo Myung-haeng) at a hotel in Jongno-gu, Seoul. 'Polaris' was known as the leading film of Jun Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won, but before its release, it was suddenly marked as 'and Kang Dong-won' at the end of the credit, raising curiosity. In response, Kang Dong-won "I think it's set that way to suit the character. I think you'll find out if you watch the drama."
Pukguksong is a story about an unidentified special agent 'Sanho' (Kang Dong-won) who has built an international reputation as a UN ambassador facing a huge truth threatening the Korean Peninsula with 'Moonju' (Jeon Ji-hyun) who has to protect her as he pursues the background of the presidential candidate shooting. Director Kim Hee-won, who directed 'Queen of Tears' and 'Vincenzo', director Heo Myung-haeng of 'The Outlaws', and writer Shim Jung-kyung of 'Decision to Break Up' and 'Little Women' made headlines by writing. In addition, the meeting between Jeon Ji-hyun, who has built an international reputation as a UN ambassador, and Kang Dong-won, who plays the role of Cho, Lee Mi-sook, Park Hae-sook, Kim Hae-sook, Yoo Jae-myung, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-hee, Joo Jong-hyuk, and Won Ji-an are also expected to appear.
'Polaris' will be released for the first time on Disney+ on the 10th.
