MBC's new entertainment show `Extreme 84' is an ultra-extreme running entertainment that depicts Gian84 jumping into an imaginary-exceeding course exceeding 42.195km, putting himself to the test in an extreme marathon environment and challenging himself to the end. It shows the end of human instinct and emotions raw and presents a journey that is different from the existing marathon challenge.

'Extreme 84' is a franchise project that expands the rainbow world view of MBC's leading entertainer 'I Live Alone'. In particular, producer Park Soo-bin, who directed the episode 'I Live Alone - Gian84 Race Day in New York' and captured Gian84's marathon journey, plans to produce it again this time to depict the expanded challenge in a realistic way.




Gian84's challenge began at the Cheongju Full Course Marathon in 2023. In 2024, he completed the New York Marathon, one of the world's seven largest marathons, recording a time of 4 hours and 48 minutes. And now he's thrown into a course beyond 42.195km that's hard to imagine, going into a race that transcends the dimension where his endurance and survival instincts are all out. Attention is focused on how far his limitations will be revealed in the heinous environment and what unexpected moments will unfold in the process.

In this program, scenes that have not been seen in any broadcast will be unfolded. The extreme challenge of the marathon, the unfamiliar scenery of the remote area, and the reality that allows you to check human limitations at once are a collection, giving viewers a different sense of immersion.

MBC's new entertainment show `Extreme 84' will premiere in November.
