‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ Sets Netflix All-Time Record

According to To Doom, Netflix's official viewing time ranking site, the cumulative number of viewers (the value of viewing time divided by the total running time of the work) reached 266 million on the 11th week of its release.
The cumulative number of viewers of this 'K-pop Demon Hunters' surpassed the 265.2 million cumulative number of viewers in Season 1 of 'Squid Game' (written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk), which ranked first in Netflix's box office content (English, non-English, film, and show integration), and beat 'Squid Game' to become the most viewed box office content on Netflix.
Previously, on the 27th of last month, which was the 10th week of its release, the accumulated number of views reached 236 million, beating the accumulated number of views of the 2021 release Red Notice (directed by Lawson Marshall Tuber) which was the number one Netflix movie in history, and adding a record of being the number one Netflix integrated in a week. The next challenge record for 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' is 'First 300 Million View' in Netflix history. Radio broadcasting scores increased 21% to 1.7 million and sales increased 11% to 9000, respectively.
It's not just 'Golden'. In the same period 'Hot 100' chart-in was successful, with the other OST of 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'4th place, 'Soda Pop'5th place, 'How It's Dawn'9th place.
Billboard has been at No. 1 for six weeks on the 'streaming song' chart, and it has risen sharply from 42nd to 29th on the 'radio song' chart. "Digital Song Sales" chart also topped the chart for the first time"'Golden' is the third K-pop genre song that has been at the top of 'Hot 100' for more than three weeks so far, following BTS's 'Butter' (10 weeks) and 'Dynamite' (3 weeks)."
Meanwhile, 'K-pop Demon Hunters' is an action fantasy animation about Huntrix members Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong), and Joey (Yoo Ji-young), who are K-pop boy groups by day and secretly exorcist by night, defeating the lion boys who become evil spirits and threaten humanity at night. It is the first overseas production animation based on domestic K-pop idols and the first musical animation using K-pop music in history.
